I just went and listened to it. God, yes, such a Janet song. Even better than ‘Blood in the Water’. I wonder if there’s a cover of it somewhere- can you imagine if there was a lounge music version? (I’m mentally hearing it sung by someone who sounds like this.)

I need to find a good fan-cast for Janet so I can picture that.

I make no claim to historicity, coherence, or origin. This is primarily Iranian, Afghani and Persian music I found online that seemed to suit Ra’s. I suspect most middle eastern people would fall over laughing at my attempt at this, but dammit. I had to try.
