Not a Batfic. This is a mortal instruments fic, the first in what I am trying very hard to keep a small verse, written for my best offline friend. Focusing around Magnus Bane, and Alec Lightwood, with Clary, Jace, and Izzy looking to play heavy side roles. Takes place before and during City of Bone, and you probably need to have read at least that much for this to make sense.
